Series 2 of the AACTA and Logie award-winning Mystery Road sees the return of Detective Jay Swan (Aaron Pedersen) to take on a grisly case in an Australian coastal community. Filmed in Western Australia’s Dampier Peninsular and Broome by acclaimed directors Warwick Thornton (Sweet Country, Samson & Delilah) and Wayne Blair (Top End Wedding, The Sapphires), the outstanding ensemble cast also includes Sofia Helin, Jada Alberts, Callan Mulvey, Tasma Walton, Rob Collins, Gary Sweet, Ursula Yovich, Ngaire Pigram, Stan Yarramunua and Tasia Zalar.
Mystery Road Series 2 premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival in February 2020. It makes its Autralian premiere on ABC TV and iview on Sunday April 19 at 8.30pm.

Detective Jay Swan (Aaron Pederson) takes on a grisly new case in a new town in order to be closer to his family, but has he left it too late? Set in a small coastal community where the desert meets the ocean, secrets past and present run deep and dark. Jay must reconcile the law and deep lore and confront a dangerous enemy in a world where deception is king.
